From download to replies, in this order: install → add an API key → dry run → activate a license.
Meow is a Mac app (Windows in preview) that answers your WeChat while you're away: from your own account, through WeChat for Mac, it replies to one-to-one chats and to group messages meant for you, and signs every reply as AI.
Install, permissions and updates
Download, move to Applications, grant permissions, prepare WeChat; later, update and uninstall.
Get an API key for the model
Get a key from DeepSeek, Anthropic or another provider, add it to the app and test it.
Activate your license key
Get your key after paying, activate it in the app, manage your Macs, recover a lost key.
Mail alerts and the Chrome extension
Install the Chrome extension and get important Gmail and Outlook mail on your other WeChat account.
Troubleshooting
Nothing happens, messages not read, permissions red, key rejected, license problems.
